Fashion Hungry is for fashionista’s who are interested in all things fabulous and incorporates articles on the latest fashion trends to collections and beauty buys!

About the Author

Lisa Boyle is a local news journalist, women’s columnist, fashion writer and researcher based in Scotland, United Kingdom.

She currently writes a weekly column named ‘Women’s Writes’ for various Clyde Weekly Press titles. Women’s Writes is all about fashion, fun and the female perspective on life.

Her work has appeared in various print and online publications such as The Daily Mail, I-on Magazine, Sick Chirpse.com, The Banter, Tellusfashion.com and UK Club HQ Ltd. She has also just started her own video channel on youtube named TheFashionHungry.

In addition, she contributes feature articles to freelance publications and has just completed a BA Honours degree in Journalism at University of the West of Scotland. 

A self-confessed shopaholic and rock music fanatic, Lisa decided to pursue her career in journalism after spending a year studying fashion design at university and realising sewing was not for her. Although she loved the illustration and design part of fashion, writing was something she had loved continually since childhood and began to realise journalism was the perfect career.

Lisa has a penchant for all things glamorous, and cannot pass House of Frasers without buying a lipstick from Mac or some other beauty product. As well as being obsessed with makeup, Lisa adores Audrey Hepburn films and borders on obsession when it comes to the music of The Doors.

Magazines, jalapenos, shoes and coffee are her weaknesses and she admits that the gym is her favourite place to destress.
