January Wants

23 Dec

Chrismas is just around the corner, yet I’m largely focusing on the prospect of creating a whole new wardrobe for the forthcoming year and beyond.

My current wardrobe is starting to become a little mundane, so starting afresh is now profusely on my mind and as always, I am already calculating the essential items I wish to adorn my 2012 wardrobe.

My obsession with mohair jumpers will not be fading when January arrives. I’ve already got my eye on this pretty number from Topshop petite.

The perfect casual sweater for shopping and pub lunches, I’ll be wearing this with tough leather and a mishmash of textures for a luxurious feel.

This amazing leather pleat skirt is ultra versatile, and will be stunning with paired with comfy knits, slouchy vests and soft chiffon blouses.

The gorgeous purple faux fur bag as seen above is also from River Island and currently is on sale at £15! I’ve already snapped this up as it’s the perfect arm candy for party season.

Burgundy is a recent trend that is to stay strong throughout next year and to celebrate, I’m saving for these amazing vintage-style beaten boots from again, River Island.

I have a bit of a cheek looking for another coat after just receiving one as a gift from mother, but a girl can never have too many and this snug faux fur one from Topshop looks too cosy to ignore.

Statement necklaces are a perfect new way to start the season and will jazz up any outfit instantly. This lightening bolt costume piece from Topshop will look ultra cool layered over a sweater or plain white tee.

Jumper £38 Topshop Petite, Bag £15 River Island, Coat £110 Topshop, Leather Skirt £75 and Boots £7, both River Island, Necklace £16.50 Topshop.
