Fashion girl of the month… Olivia Palermo

My new Style Crush

Olivia's officewear chic

As much as I hate to admit it, Olivia Palermo has got great style. In case you’re wondering who on earth I’m ranting about, she stars in reality TV show The City alongside Whitney Port and is also accessories editor of American Elle Magazine.

One thing I would also like to say about her is she is a tad irritating. In The City, she pretends to be sickly sweet to her boss and back-stabs almost all of her colleagues and friends backs in order to make her way to the top of the fashion chain. But whatever, it’s her style we’re talking about here.

Olivia Palermo’s style is very chic, she varies from dressing adrogynously to girlishly preppy. She often mixes high street and designer pieces, particularly Topshop and she’s partial to a bit of Marc Jacobs. Lately she has been wearing lots of behomian style maxi dresses but never has a hair out of place.

No matter where she’s going, she always looks fabulously on trend, and seems to sport expertly chic office attire more than effortlessly.

Of course, as an accessories editor at Elle the girl has to look great all the time, but I think there is something very unique about the way Olivia seems to piece her look together in such a modern, trend-worthy and eclectic way.

Here’s some of my favourite Olivia Palermo looks.
